Day 6 - Friday August 12 - Hoping For Good News...

It's 6:30 AM and I've been up since 5 AM.  Hoping we get good news that the motorcycle parts have arrived.  The parts should be in by 11 AM , bike fixed by 12 Noon and us back on the road by 1 PM.

This is "Dave's Sports Centre" where Mark and Elton have treated Jeanie, myself, and the bike with the utmost care and respect.

Dave Johnston (DJ) tracked us down at the hotel to encourage us - thanks DJ.  He had some good suggestions for route changes that we will take into consideration while we make plans.

I have to tell you, though, that this has NOT been a "downer".  Yes there was some very dangerous driving on the I-95 through rain, mist and total darkness but step by step we have been able to find our way.  That is with help from extremely friendly, hospitable, and generous folks in Canada and the US.  And last, but not least, God's help in keeping us safe as we traveled up the I-95 (I cannot overstate to you how dangerous the conditions were).

That's all for now.  We'll let you know if we are on the way this afternoon or if we have to stay here in Woodstock, NB until Monday.
